Linda

Hi! I am Linda, the NMI President.

You might be wondering what NMI is or means. NMI is Nazarene Missions International.

Our church is very interested in missions here in the US and around the world. We have had visits from  missionaries from the Philippines, Kevin Brunk, Miss Kimmerman from Russia, and a family from Eurasia. Each year we invite missionaries to talk to us, and sometimes show us through Power Point, slides or video what God is doing in their area from around the world.

We have a few people from our church that have become missionaries. We have Rev. John (Jack) Holstead.  For over 20 years he and his wife have brought people to Christ in Taiwan, Thailand and other countries in the South Pacific. We have another missionary, Jeff Ferryman, who is a Medical Missionary in The Ivory Coast in Africa (sent in 2003-2006).

Our church is very excited about Missions. I hope you take the time to come and visit to see what we are doing in Missions. Please look at the web site from main headquarters and the Nazarene World Missions Society to find out more!

Here are some themes that we promote.  Look at the calendar for our monthly themes:

  • SPONSORED CHILD- we have a church sponsor child.  Her name is Twambazimana Clotulde.  She is a female in 6th grade.   Our support helps her attend school and buy school supplies.  "Thank you for making a difference in my life."

  • CLOTHING DRIVE- this ministry helps those around the world to recieve clothing (from winter coats and boots to shorts and shortsleeve shirts and everything in between.  This is done once to twice a year.
